After a career at the highest levels of the computer and high-tech industries, I wanted to use the experience I'd gained and the things I’d learned to help others.  So, I started American World (AW).  My goal was to help other entrepreneurs by writing and/or by acting as their consultant.  I began in the consulting role, usually writing business plans for promising ventures that needed funding.

Writing/Publishing 

With my life-long love of books, I also fulfilled a dream - to write and publish books that would help our audience of entrepreneurs.  My current book is a "how-to" for people that are seeking funding, How To Raise Money, The Truth.

 

Also, I was fortunate to be one of the insiders ("anarchists") in the PC Revolution.  About a year ago I decided to write another book that not only describes this pivotal moment for the computer industry but also reveals how giant corporations were destroyed when they failed to heed the storms swirling toward them.  This book, The PC Revolution, An Anarchist’s Journal is not only informative and entertaining, but also contains survival strategies for any company that wants to avoid the catastrophes inherent in the constant changes programmed into our existence.  I also tell some humorous and revealing stories about the "cast of characters".  

 

AW Consulting

The first step required for any venture to succeed is completion of a professional Business Plan to define precisely what needs to be accomplished.  We have written many plans for entrepreneurs.  We also help our clients with an array of other services. 

Our New Location

After living for many years in New England and Silicon Valley, I moved to Pawleys Island, at the southern tip of  "The Grand Strand" of Myrtle Beach, SC (more golf courses and not nearly as cold as Boston in the winter).
